Thyra Kleibergen
opdracht 1&2 van space soup
wensen: alleen staand huis, gemaakt van steen en leisteen, grote ramen, trappenhuis, brede raamkozijnen, drie verdiepingen, garage, inloopkast, grote badkamer met bad, sauna, vloerverwarming, bubbelbad, duik put, enorme keuken, keuken eiland, minibar, en ondergronds zwembad.
functie: wonen
doelgroep: mij

Banksy is a pseudonymous England-based graffiti artist, political activist, film director, and painter.
His satirical street art and subversive epigrams combine dark humour with graffiti done in a distinctive stencilling technique. Such artistic works of political and social commentary have been featured on streets, walls, and bridges of cities throughout the world. Banksy once characterised graffiti as a form of underclass "revenge", or guerilla warfare that allows an individual to snatch away power, territory and glory from a bigger and better equipped enemy. Banksy sees a social class component to this struggle, remarking "If you don't own a train company then you go and paint on one instead. Banksy's work has also shown a desire to mock centralized power, hoping that his work will show the public that although power does exist and works against you, that power is not terribly efficient and it can and should be deceived.
Banksy's works have dealt with an array of political and social themes, including anti-War, anti-capitalism, anti-fascism, anti-imperialism, anti-authoritarianism, anarchism, nihilism, and existentialism. Additionally, the components of the human condition that his works commonly critique are greed, poverty, hypocrisy, boredom, despair, absurdity, and alienation.
Banksy makes art that says something about the state the world is in and he expresses his opinion trough it. I really like his art his technique isn’t one off a kind the colors aren’t as well but the story he tells trough his art is special. Banksy dares to speak his mind and just keeps on doing it spectacularly and for everyone to see.
Jeff koons
Jeff Koons has said in an interview that his ideas are a natural process.
“Generally I walk around and I see one
object and it affects me. I can’t just choose any object or any theme to work
with. I can be confronted by an object and be interested in a specific thing
about it, and the context develops simultaneously. I never try to create a
context artificially. I think about my work every minute of the day”.
Jeff Koons isn’t the one who makes his art especially when they are as big
as the hanging hart (see the picture in artists) he is just the idea man. His
works are so special that they are sold for millions of dollars. Why they are
so special, he works with everyday objects this can make the people want to look
at the work because it’s familiar. All his works do have an extraordinary twist
to it and they are just one of a kind.
I think Jeff Koons is a great artist. His way of making old common things
into something special that makes you want to keep looking at it is just
fantastic. With his work he touches people because they are familiar with the
shape and the subject like Michael Jackson or puppy’s. By making them bigger, smaller,
a different color, material or putting the objects in a different surrounding
makes it even more interesting to look at. I don’t particularly like every
piece of art by him but a lot I think are really special. Especially the series
celebration I like because of the bright colors and the feeling that it makes
me happy. The celebration makes me really happy because I like the idea of
celebration and I associate it with happiness.

Difference between an art house and blockbuster movie.
An art
house film is a film that is made with a small budget and for a niche market
audience. Because of its low budget the movie doesn’t need a lot of viewers to
become financially viable. It is mainly decided how many viewers there will be
by columnists and bloggers because there isn’t any money for marketing campaigns
. This of course also means that these art house films aren’t made with a lot
of special effects, costly celebrity actors or any other expensive stuff. The
art house films are produced for the people who know something about film
making and know what’s needed for a good movie only they can really appreciate
such a film. These sort of films aren’t shown in just any kind of theatre only
a small amount of theatres show these films and they are also often shown at
film festivals. Famous art house films are Andrei Rublev and a clockwork
orange.

A
blockbuster film is a film that is made for entertainment purposes and for mass
market audience. It is made with A ranked stars which get paid a lot to play in
such film. A lot of money is spend to make the blockbuster film look real and
the blockbuster films have huge marketing campaigns. This is really attractive for
a lot of people. They want to see such a movie because it looks good and the
story seems fun. Most of the people don’t even look at how it’s thought out and
made when the spectators of art house films do. Blockbusters need a lot of
spectators to make profit because they’ve invested a lot of money in it. So
they are shown in almost all movie theaters around the country to get as much spectators
as they can. Almost all blockbuster films are popular and known by everyone but
probably the most famous are avatar, titanic, the dark knight and pirates of the Caribbean.
One has
high budged one low. One is made for market audience and the other for niche
market audience. Art house and blockbuster film are actually opposites I think.
